Dear Readers,
I thought you might like to see the cover for the next Alvin Ho book. Here it is:Isn’t it fabulous???!!! And scary!!!
I LOVE it!!!
It’s absolutely Phamtastic! Thank you, LeUyen Pham!!!
And here’s the back cover:And he thought Concord, with all its famous dead authors still living in their homes leading tours, was scary! Ha! In this final book of the Alvin Ho series, Alvin gets a huge dose of Chinese culture that includes waking up on the 28th floor of a skyscraper, surviving air pollution, navigating crowds, using chopsticks, ordering Peeking Duck, getting porcupunture, and visiting an orphanage — full of — yikes! — girls! Plus, he learns a thing or two about Chinese history, travel, and making friends in a faraway place.
The on-sale date is August 5, 2014. Just in time for book reports in the fall š !
Oh, but what a loooooooong wait. Waiting for a book to come out is the worst part of being author.
What an adventure for Alvin! I like the cover art.

This is so wonderful…I so miss not being able to share with this with classes now that I’m retired. What a treat will be coming their way! Awesome…I can’t wait to read it. Love the cover art and especially the list of things he’s going to face in China.

Yes, it’s so. My publisher says the later books in the series are not selling well enough to justify continuing the series. I feel very fortunate that Alvin has had a run of five really good books, with one more on the way, which puts him just one book short of Harry Potter!
